Block room reservation has been made with the Berkeley Lab Guest House, and a special discount booking arrangement with Hotel Shattuck Plaza. To make your reservations with the Berkeley Lab Guest House or Hotel Shattuck Plaza, please follow the instructions listed below.

Block room reservation deadlines:

Berkeley Lab Guest House – Friday, November 8, 2013
Hotel Shattuck Plaza – Friday, November 15, 2013

Rates:

Berkeley Lab Guest House: $112 for standard queen or double twin, $122 for double queen, and $142 for a suite – includes internet, parking, and tax ($10 per additional guest).

Hotel Shattuck Plaza: $139 – conveniently located in center of downtown Berkeley, near the BART station and the LBNL shuttle bus stop.

Procedure for online group discount reservations:

Berkeley Lab Guest House:

Go to berkeleylabguesthouse.berkeley.edu. Click on the “RESERVATIONS” tab.
Click on the radio button “I have a group booking code.”
Enter the Group Booking Code, “B02F13”, in the pop up box and click “Continue”
Select your arrival and departure dates. Select the number of adults occupying your room. Click on “Check Availability and Room Rates”.
Select the type of room you would like to book.
Complete all information required for booking. If you have any special needs or special requests, please enter that information in the field provided. Click “Continue”.
Review the information for your reservation.
Click on the box “I have read and accept the “Hotel Policies.
Click on “Place reservation”
Copy your confirmation number at the top of the screen. you will receive an email confirmation within 30 minutes.
You will be contacted by one of the Berkeley Lab Guest House Service Agents for your Credit Card information to guarantee your reservation.

Hotel Shattuck Plaza

You can either call the hotel directly – 510-845-7300 or toll free 866-466-9199 and ask for the BOSS Meeting Group, or go to the link provided.  The block reserved dates are December 8, 9, 10, &11.

If the online reservation system does not appear to work for you, or if you’re also attending the eBOSS meeting and would like to extend your stay another night through Friday, December 13, please call the hotel directly.

For other hotel options, please check the hotel listing on the LBNL preferred hotel directory. The government rates on this list have for the most part, gone up, but some may still offer discounted government rates. The best choices, however, are either the LBNL Guest House, or the Hotel Shattuck Plaza.
